 Yesterday, The Executive chairman of Edda LGA,  visited Amaeta and Ogiri villages in Idima Community for a peace talk over the land dispute between the two villages.  In the meeting were their traditional chiefs, The member representing Edda East State Assembly Hon Steven Igwe Oji- Mansteve,The honorable commissioner, The SSA to the Governor on Internal Security South, Hon Okenwa uka, The SSA to the Governor on Youth Mobilization South, Hon Bar Frank A.  Dike and security heads and other dignitaries from Eddaland.  The Chairman gave fair hearing to both parties and other speakers who frowned at the act of both parties saying that as brothers they were not supposed to be at war with each other. In his speech, he thanked the security arms for their swift intervention in making sure that no life was lost during the crisis.
