Easter Smiles.......


A newly posted pastor was visiting the homes of his church members. At one of the houses, he observed that someone was at home but refused to answer his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out his complimentary card and wrote 'Rev 3:20' at the back of the card and dropped it. When the offering basket was going round in the church the following sunday, the pastor found out that his card had been returned. Added to it was this message: Gen.3:10! When the pastor opened his Bible to check out the quotation, he broke down with laughter. Rev.3:20 says behold l stand at the door and knock while Gen 3:10 says i heard your voice but was afraid for i was naked.

BREAKING: Surprise as seven PDP national officers resign

Seven national officers of Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have resigned from their roles. The party chieftains in different letters addressed to the National Secretary of the party on Tuesday alleged being sidelined and unfairly treated by the National Chairman, Uche Secondus. The party’s National Organising Secretary, Colonel Austin Akobundu (retd), confirmed this on Tuesday. It was gathered those who resigned include: the Deputy National Financial Secretary, Deputy Legal Adviser, Deputy National Auditor, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Deputy Women Leader, and Deputy Organising Secretary. They promised to remain loyal to the PDP but said they will not be able to work with the current national working committee (NWC). Details later.
