Second Niger Bridge will be completed on schedule ; APC led Federal Government.



ONTISHA- The APC Federal Government has reiterated its commitment towards early completion of the Second Niger Bridge. The Federal Government represented by  President Yemi Osibanjo stated this today at the project site in Onitsha, Anambra State. The Vice President disclosed that the Federal government has made funds available for the project under the *Presidential Funding Initiative* to ensure that the project is completed on schedule.



The Vice President who went round the project site expressed satisfaction with the massive level of work done so far on the project. He stated that the work will continue at that pace to ensure early completion and commissioning.  He described the project as one that holds large  economic benefits for Anambra State, South East and Nigeria as a whole.

The Vice President was accompanied in the visit by Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, Minister of Power, Housing and Works, Babatude Fashola, APC National Auditor, Chief George Moghalu, Senator Representing Anambra South, Sen. Andy Uba,  APC Anambra State Chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, Anambra State only APC Lawmaker, Hon. Ikem Uzozie and host of others.

The project site  is a beauty to behold. A project abandoned by the PDP government for sixteen years is now becoming a reality in just four years of APC government.

BREAKING: Surprise as seven PDP national officers resign

Seven national officers of Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have resigned from their roles. The party chieftains in different letters addressed to the National Secretary of the party on Tuesday alleged being sidelined and unfairly treated by the National Chairman, Uche Secondus. The party’s National Organising Secretary, Colonel Austin Akobundu (retd), confirmed this on Tuesday. It was gathered those who resigned include: the Deputy National Financial Secretary, Deputy Legal Adviser, Deputy National Auditor, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Deputy Women Leader, and Deputy Organising Secretary.
