Breaking news(black Thursday)..

An object suspected to be an improvised explosive device has exploded at Glory Land High School,Azugwu, in Ebonyi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The device which exploded during break hour, Thursday, according to sources within the school, shattered the left arm of an SS 2 student simply identified as Chibuike while undisclosed number of students sustained various degree of injuries...

BREAKING: Surprise as seven PDP national officers resign

Seven national officers of Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have resigned from their roles. The party chieftains in different letters addressed to the National Secretary of the party on Tuesday alleged being sidelined and unfairly treated by the National Chairman, Uche Secondus. The party’s National Organising Secretary, Colonel Austin Akobundu (retd), confirmed this on Tuesday. It was gathered those who resigned include: the Deputy National Financial Secretary, Deputy Legal Adviser, Deputy National Auditor, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Deputy Women Leader, and Deputy Organising Secretary. They promised to remain loyal to the PDP but said they will not be able to work with the current national working committee (NWC). Details later.
